Concert Band meets during study hall on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:40 until 3:15. 

Because students will no longer receive sectionals, sectionals will be taking place "as needed" during our scheduled rehearsal time.

Students will need to bring the following items to every rehearsal:
    - instrument (marching instrument may be different from band instrument)
    - all band music
    - pen or pencil (colored works best)
    - homework or book (on sectional days, students will be permitted to do homework or read a book.  Cell phones and ipods are not permitted during rehearsal/sectional times.)

PLAYING TESTS
Please be patient with the process for playing tests for chair assignments this year.  Since we no longer have group lessons, I will not be able to listen to the students individually.  I will try different methods this year to see which method works best with the rehearsal time allowed.

Playing test type 1 (video recorded audition) - Students will perform a taped audition during our scheduled band time.  I will then listen to the taped audition to assign seating.

Playing test type 2 (sectional audition) -  I will listen to the students perform individually during a sectional rehearsal, during our scheduled band time.  Students may or may not receicve notification of a playing test.  This method could be used as a "pop quiz".
PLAYING TESTS
